Purchasing your copy of the course text:
Please be careful to note that you are not to buy just any of the texts you come across in the bookstore. Sections 14 and 15 of AN/S 110 are being served by a unique text designed specifically for those sections. This text combines chapters from several anthropology and sociology texts into one package. It was custom designed by Max Forte in order to reduce the expenses incurred by students--previously, two new texts (one for anthropology and one for sociology) would result in a combined cost that was more than 100% of what you are now paying. Our course text is only slightly more expensive than one of the used texts that was previously used--without a sacrifice in quality (indeed, I think the opposite is true as I was able to combine what I judged to be the best chapters from a variety of texts).
